The batteries will dispatched to you almost fully charged, but you will still have to charge them before first use, there should be no need for many hours, just until your charger indicates they are ready, this will of course depend on the charger capabilities, while you may well be sorely tempted just to fit them and go without charging it's well worth waiting that short period to set them up in the right way before you start
