The batteries will dispatched to you almost fully charged, but you will still have to charge them before first use, it should not take that long, just until the charger indicates its ready, if in doubt overnight will be more than enough, this first step is important so do not ignore it, do not use without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span
