Charge your new batteries before first use fully and installing them in your scooter, it will take a number of charges and use in the scooter before it is capable of taking a full capacity charge, this is quite normal and part of the conditioning process. We would recommend that you charge after every use, its not a good idea to leave them in a semi discharged state and will be much better if you can always manage to keep a minimum of 20 % capacity in the cells at all times. In for whatever reason the batteries are not used for extended periods then a top up charge every 8-weeks will help to arrest the natural self discharge that will occur.
