Most users will not even notice but it will take a number of charges and associated use in your equipment before they are capable of accepting a full capacity charge, this is quite normal and part of the conditioning process, once you have used your equipment put the batteries back on charge, do not let them sit in a partially discharged state for any longer than absolutely necessary, do not try to fully discharge the batteries, it will reduce the lifespan and cost you money in the long run, it is important to keep a charge in the batteries for long life, so if there is any period of time where they are not being used then charge before hand and top this up every four weeks but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours
These 12-volt batteries are valve regulated and AGM or absorbed glass mat, not need for any liquid as the acid is held within the glass mat, this means they will not spill and not-hazardous so safe for use around the home and or travelling, even aeroplanes but you should confirm this with your airline at point of booking your flight, they are deep cycle which would be required in this sort of application
