When your order is delivered to you the batteries will be almost fully charged, but you still need to complete a full charge them before first use, the time of the first charge will be dependent on the charger, just leave it on until its finished, do not miss out this important first step, it will help set them up and possibly extend the overall life expectancy of them
You may not notice it but it will probably take a few charges and use in your equipment before you are able to receive a full capacity charge in your batteries, this is quite a normal part of the conditioning process, you should fully charge your batteries as soon as you can after every use, do not leave them sitting in a semi discharged state any period unless necessary, discharging the batteries fully will only reduce their life expectancy, it will do them no good and will cost you money in the long run, there may be many reasons for the equipment not be used on a regular basis, if there are protracted periods where this is the case then ensure the batteries are charged before hand and then topped up every four weeks but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours at a time
