There are two batteries in this set.

The Invacare Mistral Plus Mistral3 & Junior could have come from the factory with 31.6ah or 51ah GEL batteries. If you have the larger ones, you can select them from the easy upgrade drop-down menu above under available options.

Unless you are a very extended user, you will probably not notice that it can take up to fifteen charges and use in your equipment before a full capacity charge is achieved; this is all part of the conditioning process. Ensure you charge your new batteries after every use; they can charge many charges, but this will be reduced if you let them run down in between. Do not try to discharge the batteries fully. It will reduce the lifespan and cost you money in the long run. It is crucial to keep a charge in the batteries for long life, so if there is any period where they are not being used, then charge beforehand and top this up every four weeks, but do not leave them on a charger for more than 24 hours.

Check the code on your mobility equipment carefully to ensure you are ordering the correct battery set, as many of them have very similar names of codes. If in doubt, you could check the dimensions of the batteries and take note of anything that may be written on the side of them. The size of the batteries are also specified below so you can confirm this product is recyclable it is made mainly of lead, which is easily transformed. Please ensure they are disposed of properly at a recycling centre when they have fulfilled their purpose for you. More information about recycling can be found at the foot of this page.
