The batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use, the charger LED lights will indicate whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, do not just install and go without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span, it's well worth doing
You may not notice it but it will probably take a few charges and use in your equipment before you are able to receive a full capacity charge in your batteries, this is quite a normal part of the conditioning process, letting the batteries sit in a discharged state, even partially is not a good idea, as soon as you have used them put them back on charge, do not try to fully discharge the batteries, it will reduce the lifespan and cost you money in the long run, if there are extended periods where you are not using the batteries you should remember to recharge every four weeks and do not put them away discharged, even partially, do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
These batteries will require no general maintenance, no topping up with fluid as it has none, they are AGM and VRLA, of course with deep cycle properties that would be required in this type of application, they are also not-hazardous so safe to use in the home or on the road and for travelling by air, but you should check with your airline when you book your ticket
