The Ranger is power wheelchair that can come in FWD, MWD or RWD (front, middle or rear wheel drive). This offer is for 51ah batteries to replace the 22NF ones originally fitted. This is standard on the 16,18, 20 inch wide models including the hemi, if you have the narrower 14-inch wide seat then a link can be found much further down the page to them as they have a smaller capacity battery.

This powered wheelchair is mid-range with a number of optional features and many standard ones such as easy to remove batteries and it can be broken down into a more portable chair for travelling.
The batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use, the charger LED lights will indicate whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, make sure you do not miss the initial charge, doing so may reduce overall life expectancy.
It's not something that most will notice but it will take a few charges and use in the equipment before a full capacity charge is reached, it's part of the normal conditioning process. After you have used your equipment you should get a charge back into it as soon as you are able. Do not leave it sitting around in a partially discharged state for any longer than absolutely necessary. Do not attempt to deliberately discharge the batteries, it will only do them harm and will reduce the life span. If for any reason you are not using them for long periods then you should recharge every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time.
These batteries will require no general maintenance, no topping up with fluid as it has none. They are AGM and VRLA and of course with deep cycle properties that would be required in this type of application. They are also not-hazardous so safe to use in the home or on the road and for travelling by air, but you should check with your airline when you book your ticket.
Ensure that you order the right battery by carefully checking the code on your mobility device and comparing it to the information here, a lot of them are very similar so it can be easy to make a mistake. If in doubt check the batteries themselves, the dimensions and anything written on the side of them, we have included the physical sizes of the batteries so you can double check.
