Below you will find details of a set of new mobility batteries you will require for the Karelma Hercules, the onboard energy storage facility which give you the mileage is powered by way of 34-amp hour batteries, it uses 2 x 12-volt batteries, they are replacements for them, as you would expect they are rechargeable, deep cycle capable unlike some batteries and not-hazardous, will not spill so safe for use indoors, they are also recyclable and environmentally friendly, more information on recycling can be found on our recycle page

When you receive your order from us your new batteries will be almost fully charged but you will still need to complete the charge before first use, the charge time will depend on your charger, just leave it on until it indicates its finished, you might just want to fit them and use, but that would be unwise, missing out on charging them first could shorten overall life expectancy
It's not always apparent but it will take up to ten charges combined with use in your device before a full capacity charge can be achieved, this is the normal part of conditioning, letting the batteries sit in a discharged state, even partially is not a good idea, as soon as you have used them put them back on charge, never try to discharge the batteries, with this type of technology it will only mean a shorter life, these batteries need to be kept charged, so if there is any reason where they are not be used then ensure they are charged beforehand and then every 4-weeks, but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours
These 12-volt batteries are valve regulated and AGM or absorbed glass mat, not need for any liquid as the acid is held within the glass mat, this means they will not spill and not-hazardous so safe for use around the home and or travelling, even aeroplanes but you should confirm this with your airline at point of booking your flight, they are deep cycle which would be required in this sort of application
