Upon receipt of your mew battery order you will note that they have a good charge, but you will still need to charge them before using for the first time, you do not need to leave it on for hours on end, just until the charger has indicated that it has finished, do not just install and go without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span, it's well worth doing
It's not something that most will notice but it will take a few charges and use in the equipment before a full capacity charge is reached, it's part of the normal conditioning process, allowing your new batteries to sit without charge is not a good idea, as soon as you have finished using it put it back on charge, do not attempt to deliberately discharge the batteries, it will only do them harm and will reduce the life span, if for any unforeseen reason they is an extended period where you are not using the batteries make sure they are fully charged first, then recharge every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours
