When you receive your order from us you will note that the batteries will be almost fully charged, but it is important to fully charge them before first use, it should not take that long, just until the charger indicates its ready, if in doubt overnight will be more than enough, do not just install and go without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span, it's well worth doing
You may not notice it but it will probably take a few charges and use in your equipment before you are able to receive a full capacity charge in your batteries, this is quite a normal part of the conditioning process, you should fully charge your batteries as soon as you can after every use, do not leave them sitting in a semi discharged state any period unless necessary, never go out of your way to deliberately discharge, this will only reduce overall life span, it is important to keep a charge in the batteries for long life, so if there is any period of time where they are not being used then charge before hand and top this up every four weeks but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours
The battery type is AGM which is short for absorbed glass mat construction, they are also valve regulated, they means they can be used electric vehicles around the home or on the road without the fear of any leakage, with deep cycle properties that this type of installation would require, they will require no maintenance throughout their entire life span and are not-hazardous so safe for travelling including by air but you should check with your airline at point of booking your ticket
