When you receive your order from us you will note that the batteries will be almost fully charged, but it is important to fully charge them before first use, the charge time will depend on your charger, just leave it on until it indicates its finished, do not be impatient, wait until this first charge has completed before thinking about using the equipment, it will contribute to overall battery life
Most users will not even notice but it will take a number of charges and associated use in your equipment before they are capable of accepting a full capacity charge, this is quite normal and part of the conditioning process, letting the batteries sit in a discharged state, even partially is not a good idea, as soon as you have used them put them back on charge, do not try to fully discharge the batteries, it will reduce the lifespan and cost you money in the long run, If there are extended periods where the batteries are not being used then ensure they are fully charged beforehand then recharged every four weeks but you should not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours
These batteries will require no general maintenance, no topping up with fluid as it has none, they are AGM and VRLA, of course with deep cycle properties that would be required in this type of application, they are also not-hazardous so safe to use in the home or on the road and for travelling by air, but you should check with your airline when you book your ticket
