Below you will find details of a set of new mobility batteries you will require for the Fortress 755FS, the electricity supplied from the mains is stored in deep cycle batteries onboard, they are 34-amp hour batteries, it uses 2 x 12-volt batteries, they are replacements for them, of course they are capable of deep cycling and rechargeable, two very necessary requirements in this type of installation, also they are non-spillable and not-hazardous so safe for use indoors or indeed the pavement and travelling in a electric vehicle, the cells are AGM and VRLA of which more information can be found further down the page

After you have unpacked your new battery order from us you will note that they will have a good charge in them, but you still need to complete a full charge before first use, the charger LED lights will indicate whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, you might just want to fit them and use, but that would be unwise, missing out on charging them first could shorten overall life expectancy
It may be apparent that it will take a few charges and associated use in your electric vehicle before the battery is capable of receiving a full capacity charge, this is quite normal, as soon as you after each use put them back on charge, do not allow them to sit in a discharged state, do not attempt to discharge the batteries fully, this can reduce life span quite drastically so cost you money in the long run, these batteries need to be kept charged, so if there is any reason where they are not be used then ensure they are charged beforehand and then every 4-weeks, but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours
These 12-volt batteries are AGM ( absorbed glass mat ) and VRLA ( valve regulated lead acid ) they are deep cycle and not-hazardous so suitable for use indoors or in electric vehicles, they will not leak all features that make them useful for use in this kind of application, they of course do not require any maintenance
