When you receive your new batteries make sure you give them a good charge, if they are not being used then you will also need to recharge every four weeks to keep the cells fresh, when it comes to normal use our advice would be to charge after every use, it does them no good at all if left to sit in a partially discharged state, but that does not mean leave them on charge 24-hours a day, this can instigate a fresh charge and would be detrimental to the life span if done often. The plates have a large Lead content so they are perfect for recycling.
