Please find the information on this page that we have compiled for a set of mobility batteries for the Pride mobility Rally. The energy required for use is stored in deep cycle batteries, they are 12v 35ah which are upgrades from the original 32ah meaning you will be able to travel further. They are as would be required rechargeable type of battery, deep cycle capable which would be needed in this kind of application and not-hazardous and will not spill so therefore safe to use indoors. After you have unpacked your new battery order from us you will note that they will have a good charge in them, but you still need to complete a full charge before first use, just charge them until your charger LED lights indicate that they are ready. You may well just want to fit them and use the equipment, but do not miss this first step, it's worth waiting until the first charge has completed and it might contribute to over life span.
It's not something that most will notice but it will take a few charges and use in the equipment before a full capacity charge is reached, it's part of the normal conditioning process. You should fully charge your batteries as soon as you can after every use, do not leave them sitting in a semi discharged state any period unless necessary, you should never deliberately go out of your way to try fully discharge the batteries, this will only reduce its life span and cost you money in the long run. If for any reason you are not using them for long periods then you should recharge every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time.
These 12-volt batteries are valve regulated and AGM or absorbed glass mat.No need for any liquid as the acid is held within the glass mat, this means they will not spill and not-hazardous so safe for use around the home and or travelling, even aeroplanes but you should confirm this with your airline at point of booking your flight.

We have noticed that some people may have 17ah or 18ah batteries installed in this machine which are obviously much less amp and physically smaller than these. We would not recommend having the smaller batteries when you can have the 35ah but a link to them will be on the alternatives tab anyway.
