Below you will find details of a set of new mobility batteries you will require for the Shoprider FPC, the energy required for use is stored in deep cycle batteries, they are 34-amp hour batteries, it uses 2 x 12-volt batteries, they are replacements for them, they are of course capable of deep cycling and rechargeable, very important requirements in this type of installation, they will not spill and not-hazardous so safe for use indoors, the cells are AGM and VRLA, more information about the qualities of this sort of chemistry can be found below

Even though the batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged you should still complete a full charge before first use, the charger LED lights will indicate whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, while you may well be sorely tempted just to fit them and go without charging it's well worth waiting that short period to set them up in the right way before you start
It's not something that most will notice but it will take a few charges and use in the equipment before a full capacity charge is reached, it's part of the normal conditioning process, allowing your new batteries to sit without charge is not a good idea, as soon as you have finished using it put it back on charge, never try to discharge the batteries all the way down, this will only reduce the life span and cost you money in the long run, if it turns out there are periods where the equipment is not being used on a regular basis then ensure the batteries are fully charged before any period of downtime and then topped up every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours
The battery type is AGM which is short for absorbed glass mat construction, they are also valve regulated, they means they can be used electric vehicles around the home or on the road without the fear of any leakage, with deep cycle properties that this type of installation would require, they will require no maintenance throughout their entire life span and are not-hazardous so safe for travelling including by air but you should check with your airline at point of booking your ticket
