Below you will find details of a set of new mobility batteries you will require for the Shoprider 889-3, the system utilises storage batteries, they are 34-amp hour batteries, it uses 2 x 12-volt batteries, they are replacements for them which are as would be clearly required rechargeable, capable of deep cycling which would be required in such a application, they are safe to use indoors, not-hazardous and will not spill, more information on their chemistry make up will be found below

The batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use, it should not take that long, just until the charger indicates its ready, if in doubt overnight will be more than enough, do not just fit them and roll without this initial charge, it will help to extend the battery life overall
It's not something that most will notice but it will take a few charges and use in the equipment before a full capacity charge is reached, it's part of the normal conditioning process, as soon as you after each use put them back on charge, do not allow them to sit in a discharged state, never try to discharge the batteries all the way down, this will only reduce the life span and cost you money in the long run, they may be protracted periods where the batteries are not being used, if this is the case ensure they are fully charged first, then top up every four weeks but do not leave on a charger for more than four weeks
These batteries will require no general maintenance, no topping up with fluid as it has none, they are AGM and VRLA, of course with deep cycle properties that would be required in this type of application, they are also not-hazardous so safe to use in the home or on the road and for travelling by air, but you should check with your airline when you book your ticket
