This offer contains two batteries combined in your pack for the APC Smart-UPS SUA1500INET. There are many 1500 models, so if you do not know what, look at the sticker on the unit's reverse, and you will find it states it's a SUA1500INET. If it does not and says something else, then put that into the search facility above to find the correct one.
These batteries are valve-regulated lead-acid cells, and they are also AGM or absorbed glass mat. With these two technologies coming together, it creates a pack that will not leak even if mounted on its side which can sometimes happen with interruptible systems, so it's safe for use in high-end data suites and offices. They require no maintenance and are recyclable.
Fitting the batteries is relativity easy, but if you are unsure, get a professional to do it. If you are competent to give it a go yourself, then here are a few tips, shut down all the equipment attached then, unplug, then shut down the UPS and replace the power from the mains. The front cover will pull off, exposing the battery door. There may be two Phillips screws holding this on, so undo them and drop down the door and you can slide out the old battery module, swap over to the new batteries and reverse the order, allow ten minutes for the job, and that should be enough. You should run up the UPS without any load, to begin with, until the batteries are fully charged. This helps to reset the UPS to its new batteries.
