The Haze HZS12-33 and HZS12-35F cell types are AGM, which means they require no maintenance except, of course, charging. The acid is safely contained within a glass mat between the cells, so it will not leak. It's ok to mount it on its side; it will not spill. They are also valve-regulated for safety.

This 12V battery will arrive almost fully charged upon receipt. Fully charge it before use, and charge it again after each use. Do not try to run it down; if you are not using it for several weeks at a time, then a top-up charge every four weeks will be required to keep the cells in good order.
