Fully charge your new batteries before first use, our advice would be to charge after every use, if you can you do not really want to allow them to be ever discharged below 20% of capacity, this will go a long way in allowing a full life of the battery and if not being used charge every 4-weeks to stem the natural self discharge that will occur
VRLA sealed lead acid batteries (SLA) are Non-spill, non-hazardous and maintenance free.
