Replacement eZip Mountain Trailz battery pack, there are two 12v 10ah batteries that combine to provide 24v sealed lead VRLA.

The biggest issue with electric bike batteries is users often run the batteries until they are flat, this is the quickest way to ruin a lead battery. Charge the batteries when they turn up and before first use, charge after every use, that means that if you use it to go to work in the morning, then put them on charge at work and do the same when you get home in the evening. The more energy you can keep in the batteries the longer they will last overall, however the chargers are often not that good so charge until you have a full charge and remove, if in doubt then no more than 8 hours.

The batteries are valve regulated sealed lead acid or VRLA, also AGM or absorbed glass mat, they will not leak and quite comfortable being used in portable electric vehicles or mounted on their side, they are also not-hazardous so safe for use or storing indoors.
