This vehicle uses deep cycle batteries to store energy required for use, the cells are 34-amp hour batteries, it uses 2 x 12-volt batteries, they are replacements for them. They are of course recyclable with deep cycle capabilities which would be required in a application such as this. When you get the batteries from us they will have a fairly high charge in them, but you still need to fully charge them before first use. There should be no need for many hours, just until your charger indicates they are ready, this will of course depend on the charger capabilities. This first step is important so do not ignore it, do not use without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span.
It may well take a number of full charges and alternating use in your equipment for the battery to condition and be able to take a full capacity charge, this is quite normal. Letting the batteries sit in a discharged state, even partially is not a good idea, as soon as you have used them put them back on charge. Never try to discharge the batteries, with this type of technology it will only mean a shorter life. There may well be extended periods where the batteries are not being actively used, if so ensure they are charged fully beforehand and then recharged every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time.
These 12-volt batteries are AGM ( absorbed glass mat ) and VRLA ( valve regulated lead acid ) they are deep cycle and not-hazardous so suitable for use indoors or in electric vehicles. They will not leak all features that make them useful for use in this kind of application, they of course do not require any maintenance<./p>
You should confirm the code on your mobility equipment carefully, there are many that are very similar so you order the right battery set, if in doubt look at you old batteries, check the dimensions and take note of anything written on the side of them.
