The Zoom Plus or MS01050 mobility scooter from CareCo is the upgraded version of its sister which is already very popular and a fantastic scooter packed with features including off-board charging. With the upgraded version you get a larger battery pack for a longer travel distance and also a larger chassis which will support a higher maximum weight.

The original batteries that come with the scooter would most likely be 18Ah however we are can offer upgrades as seen above, they are in the same physical size which means the battery will last a little longer in between charges. However more importantly there will be more charge left in the battery after use as the more you discharge the battery the more damage that can occur.
Although this is maintenance free battery they still need a healthy charging regime, this can be achieved by fully charging upon delivery and before first use but never for more than twenty-four hours. Also you need to charge after every use, leaving in a discharged state will damage the battery. If there is going to be a long period of time when not in use then charge every four weeks.
