A little advice regarding charging would be to fully charge upon delivery and charge after every use, its when they are partially of fully discharged that possible reduction in capacity can occur so keep them topped up, if not used for long periods of time then a top up charge every month will help prolong the life span of them. Never leave on charge for more than 24-hours unless you have a specialist charger, and even then unless there is something draining them down its safer to disconnect.
The batteries will be stored under the seat, you should check your manual on instructions on how to change your batteries over or seek help from a professional.
