These high quality deep-cycle AGM batteries are not-hazardous, non-spill-able, valve regulated and although they are maintenance free you do need to charge them in the correct way. This can be achieved by charging until full upon delivery, before first use and most importantly after every time you use it. If the batteries are going to be out of use for a while then charge every 4-weeks to help slow down the natural self-discharge rate. Finally never leave on charge for more than 24 hours and try to never use the last 20% of it.

These scooters are able to take two different size batteries, the 75Ah and the 100Ah, with the latter giving you more range.
