On offer here is a set of sixteen individual batteries that can be used to replace the older ones on your SRT48BP or SRT48RMBP extended battery module pack. It is important to replace your batteries when needed as you have a UPS for a reason, to protect your valuable data from power spikes, surges and other electrical problems. If you have an external battery pack fitted to your UPS it greatly increases the length of time that it is able to provide you power for when the power inevitably goes down.
These batteries are sealed lead-acid, environmentally friendly, non-hazardous and AGM. This means they are safe to be stored in used on their side as there is nothing to leak, ideal for machines such as a an uninterruptable power supply. They are recyclable as they are mainly made of lead so at the end of their useable life (which should be, depending on care, two to five years) please direct them to a local recycling centre so they can be made into another useful product.

How to ensure you get the maximum life from APC SRT48BP battery module
Batteries installed into UPS machines have a good start in their useable life as the charging of them is maintained by a computer meaning and not a human. However there are things that you can do to help. Before anything happens run the system without any load as this will help the batteries reset to their new home. Other things you can do to help is making sure the room where it is stored is climate controlled and has at least decent ventilation. Also try to not to use less than 40% load where possible.
Installation in the APC SRT48RMBP battery module
You would know the batteries need replacing as the UPS will either make a noise informing you or a light will appear on the front of the machine, no not delay in replacing them.
