Drive Medical are a popular manufacturer of mobility scooters and wheelchairs, they supply different countries around the world all different size electric vehicles that have been praised by the community. One of their models, the Bobcat, can come in a three wheel version or a four wheel, their specs are fairly similar, the main difference being that the four wheel is a little larger and sturdier. They both take the same batteries and that’s exactly what is for sale here.
This is a pair of 12v 12ah (upgrades available) AGM batteries which are non-hazardous, not-spillable and sealed. They are suitable for public transport including airlines but of course inform them at point of booking that you will be travelling with them.

charge and maintain Bobcat X3 and X4 scooter batteries?
Although these are classed as maintenance free batteries, most of the damage occurs when they are mistreated by being allowed to run flat or not charging after every use. You should charge them upon delivery and after every use to maintain a healthy battery . If a period of six weeks will pass without use then give them a top up charge to slow down the natural discharge rate. Once these batteries have come to the end of their life then please recycle them, they are mainly made of lead which means they can be made into a different product.
Upgrade Bobcat X3 and X4 battery?
We are able to supply direct upgrades for the standard 12ah to provide a longer runtime in between charges as they are the same physical size.
