Roma-Medical is a very popular manufacturer of mobility scooters and electric vehicles. They produce a wide range of scooters from large off road machines to small portable compact scooters. The Roma Solva can be easily disassembled without tools and will fit into the boot of most vehicles for easy transport. Features of this scooter include a detachable battery pack for off board charging, being able to quickly dismantle without tools for easy transport and storage, non-marking puncture proof tyres, comfortable adjustable height seat, flip up and width adjustable armrests and ample legroom.

Looking after your new batteries for Solva mobility scooter
Once you receive your new batteries from us you will notice they are more or less fully charged however as with any rechargeable battery it is a good idea to charge until full before first use. We recommend charging them for no more than 24-hours before using them to avoid permanent damage. You also should charge them after every use as doing so will keep them in good condition. If not in use for five weeks give them a top up charge.

Installation and user guide
You will see on our downloads tab that we have the user manual available for you to download and keep. Within this user manual is detailed information on all aspects of the mobility scooter, something that every owner should have in times of need. Installing the new batteries is not complicated, they are stored in the detachable battery pack found underneath your seat.

Environmentally Friendly
A significant proportion of your new batteries are made of lead or lead-acid batteries. This valuable resource lends itself well to recycling and can be reintroduced several times into the system. So, once it has provided the service you require, please ensure that it is directed to a center to be cycled and recycled. The one closest to you will be listed by your local council.

Now we can also supply these, but it would be very wise if you open your battery box first to check what batteries you have in there before ordering, if indeed the screw down ones then there will be a link to them in the alternatives tab.
