The Fellman-Chaser-100 Mobility Scooter is based on the Pride-Ranger and is designed for those who do not want to be limited to roads and pavements. It was developed by both CareCo and Pride-Mobility. Chunky 14.5x6" pneumatic tyres are paired with improved front and rear suspension for the smoothest off-road experience, and a pillow-topped captain's seat keeps you comfortable while riding. Simply put, this is the best off-road mobility scooter available. Twin 2400w motors provide a total of 6HP, allowing you to easily navigate long grass, steep hills and uneven terrain. There are dual hydraulic brakes on the wheels with a brake lever on the handlebars for added security, as well as a reversing sensor on the back of the scooter. Enjoy full visibility with a complete LED lighting kit, and use the LED display to keep track of your mileage, outside temperature, and time.

Looking after your new batteries for Fellman-Chaser-100
Very detailed charging information can be found in the manual but if you follow a few simple rules and tips you will get the most use out of them. Firstly, fully charge your batteries before first use, this may take 10-minutes, it may take ten hours. Secondly, if you use your vehicle on a daily basis, charge its batteries as soon as you finish for the day. Each morning, your vehicle will be ready. After daily use, the manufacturers recommend charging your vehicle's batteries for at least 8-14 hours. Allowing them to be discharged to less than 20% capacity will go a long way toward allowing the battery to last a long time. If not in use, charge every four weeks to slow down the natural self-discharge.
Installation and user guide
If you take a look at our downloads tab we have the manual available for you to download and keep. Within this manual there is a wealth of information that any owner of this vehicle should have easy access to, including instructions on how to change the batteries over. It is pretty simple to do yourself, first of all you need to make sure no power is running through the system by removing the key. Then underneath the seat you will find a lever that needs to be pulled which will allow the seat and then the rear shroud to be removed. Pay careful attention to how the batteries are connected up and maybe take a picture of the wires if you think you may forget which way round they are attached. The hardest part about changing the batteries over will be the weight of them as they are filled with lead.
Environmentally Friendly
Lead is very recyclable so you must make sure you do your bit for the earth and ensure the old batteries are sent to a recycling centre when you are finished with them, that goes for your new batteries in many years to come. They can be made into something new instead of going into a landfill.
