The Rascal-Vista-DX by Electric-Mobility is a mid-size pavement scooter and the upgraded and big brother version of the standard Vista. The quick-release feature allows it to be dismantled into a few easy-to-lift sections for transport in your car. The slim-line and compact design are able to provide plenty of legroom while remaining incredibly lightweight. It comes standard with appealing features like easy access tiller charging and a delta handlebar, and the all-around suspension adds comfort. While dissembling for transport or just to take inside it has a spilt box that holds the batteries. It has LED lights on the front and back to increase visibility, giving you confidence and support wherever you go. There are also solid puncture-proof and pneumatic tyres available. It is both solid and versatile, making it ideal for daily use.

Rascal-Vista-DX or Not DX
The standard version of this mobility scooter is nearly identical, but the DX has a few noticeable upgrades. The main difference is that it can house larger fifty-ampere batteries in its spilt box as opposed to the thirty-five that the standard version has. Looking after your new Rascal-Vista-DX batteries
The regular maintenance of your new batteries is fairly straightforward, but it depends on who you ask as you may get a different answer each time. If you follow these few simple guidelines, they will help ensure that your new batteries perform as expected. To begin, charge the batteries until they are fully charged at the time of delivery and before the first use. Because our batteries will be dispatched near-full, this could take as little as five minutes but do not be surprised if takes a few hours. Secondly, if you are not going to use the mobility scooter for four weeks or so, you must charge it to slow down the natural discharge process that all rechargeable batteries have. Most importantly, never leave in a discharged state, you must charge until full after every use.

It is not difficult to install these batteries however they are quite heavy so please take care when installing. The batteries are housed in two separate cases located beneath your seat. To access these so you can change the batteries, you'll need to undo a few screws on the underside. There will be two wires connected to the battery; simply disconnect these, replace the battery, and reconnect the wires. If you are unable to do so, please seek professional assistance. Environmentally Friendly batteries
These batteries are sealed lead acid and as it says in the name, they are mainly made of lead. This will go for your old batteries as well so please ensure they are taken to somewhere that can deal with this product and turn it into something new as lead is recyclable.
