This device from Van-Os-Medical is a pretty special machine and can be useful for many users with mobility issues; in fact, this powerpack is extremely convenient and can fit most wheelchairs. The Compact is the next model up from the Click-and-Go, it boasts more power which enables the power-pack to propel a wheelchair of greater weight with ease. This is because it requires a pack of two batteries inside the case whereas the Lite has one (you will see a link in the alternatives tab for that). With 150-Watts of power, there are no issues with steep inclines and no traction issues thanks to the dual-wheel drive system.
The battery pack is removable for charging and the whole machine is easy to operate yourself or for a personal attendant. The powerpack can be easily removed and neatly stored away due to its compact size. It is also very simple to change the batteries over and doesn’t require any sort of special tools, just a screwdriver and some patience.

Upgrading Click-and-Go-Compact battery for a longer range?
The standard batteries that this machine requires are a pair of 12v 12ah AGM batteries and we can supply exactly that on this page. We are also able to offer upgrades to these which will allow for a longer distance to be traveled before needing a recharge and if treated correctly, an longer overall life. Your options are of course the standard 12ah, the upgraded 14ah AGM, and the high-power LiFePO4 lithium versions. All these batteries are the same physical size and will slip straight into the same space.
Fitment of new Click-and-Go-Compact batteries
You may be thinking that your batteries do not look like ours and that you only have one. If this is the case then it means you are looking at the casing that holds the batteries. This offer is for the actual pair of batteries that go inside this case. Opening up the casing is very simple and can be done quite quickly. There will be a handful of screws around the outside of the case, if you undo these then the pack will split open where inside you will see the two batteries. Simply remove these batteries and replace them with new ones. If in doubt, seek advice from a professional.
