Take care of your new Heartway-S34-Pixi batteries
Regardless of the fact that these AGM batteries are maintenance-free, charging them is vital. The bulk of the damage occurs when they are left to run flat, so please charge directly after delivery and before first use, though this should not take long because all of our batteries are dispatched with plenty of charge. Charge them if they go six weeks without being used to slow down the natural discharge rate that all rechargeable batteries have. Most importantly, charge after every use so you never leave in a discharged state, a fully charged battery is a healthy battery.
Installation Heartway-S34-Pixi batteries
The batteries are stored underneath your seat in a removable box, many users think that the actual box is the battery itself however that is incorrect. To access the batteries, remove the box from the mobility scooter and turn it upside down, you will notice a handful of screws going around the outside of it (you may want to do this on something soft to minimize damage done to the plastic). Once you have undone these, flip it back over and the lid will come off. You will now be able to see two separate batteries (like the ones in the picture on this page) with two wires to each. It is as simple as swapping out the old batteries for the new. If you think you may struggle take a picture of the batteries before removing the wires so you have something to refer back to.
