The Grasshopper Classic, Cobra, and Junior are high-quality golf buggies produced and manufactured here in the UK. These three models are very popular and rightly so, deserving of being a leader in the single-seat golf buggy market. Lots of thought and effort has gone into to design and manufacture of them including the choice of batteries required for them to work. The batteries are the heart of these buggies and without them, you simply cannot use them as intended. As a standard upon the point of purchasing these buggies, you can select either sealed lead GEL or the lithium versions.

The batteries on offer here are a full set of direct replacements for the sealed lead GEL versions. We can also offer direct upgrades to these which can be selected in the easy upgrade section. Maintenance tips for Grasshopper Golf buggies
Looking after your batteries is very important if you want them to have a long life and provide you with many rounds of golf. There will be many different pieces of advice on the internet, some are correct while others are most definitely not. The first thing you should do upon receiving your new batteries are before using them is charge them until full. This could take five minutes or it could take five hours. Secondly, and most importantly, never leave in a discharged state, as soon as you have used them for the day, put them on charge until full. Lastly, during the offseason when you are not going to be using them for long periods, obviously fully charge first and then a top-up charge every six weeks to keep the cells fresh. Never leave on charge for more than twenty-four hours and you may notice it takes a handful of uses and charges before it can reach its full capacity, this is completely normal on rechargeable batteries.

Environmentally Friendly:
The primary element in these sealed lead GEL batteries is, as it says in the description of them, lead. That means they are very heavy but also recyclable, this will also apply to your old batteries. Please suitably dispose of them and allow them to be transformed into something else instead of being dumped into a landfill. Your local council will be able to help you if you are unsure where your recycling centre is.
