How to maintain your new Grasshopper-Senior-Pro battery
Maintaining your batteries is critical if you want them to last a long time and provide you with many rounds of golf. There will be many different pieces of advice on the internet, some of which will be correct while others will most unequivocally not be. The first thing you should do after receiving your new batteries is to charge them until they are completely charged. This could take as little as five minutes or as much as five hours. Secondly, and most importantly, never leave them discharged; as soon as you have used them for the day, charge them until they are full. Finally, if you are not going to be using them for an extended period of time during the off season, make sure to fully charge them first, followed by a top-up charge every six weeks to keep the cells fresh. Never charge for more than twenty-four hours, and you may notice that it takes a few uses and charges to reach its full capacity; this is completely normal for rechargeable batteries.

As stated in the description, the primary element in these sealed lead GEL batteries is lead. That is, they are very heavy, but they are also recyclable; this also applies to your old batteries. Please dispose of them properly and allow them to be transformed into something else rather than being disposed of in a landfill.
