Replacement 12v 12ah (combining to total at 24v) batteries for the Alber Viaplus-V12 wheelchair power pack motor attachment. This is a pack of two AGM valve-regulated sealed lead acid batteries, fully rechargeable and non-hazardous at low prices.

The Alber Viaplus-V12 wheelchair power pack has been specifically designed to meet the often challenging duty of pushing for the caregiver, delivering ultimate comfort. The automated braking feature provides the highest level of safety, whilst the innovative spring system keeps the wheel in contact with the ground at all times. providing a comfortable and silent ride by automatically correcting for bumps or other faults in the road. After a walk, the Viaplus-V12 can be simply left on the wheelchair without limiting its use.

This power assist add on can be readily deconstructed into three pieces without the use of any tools. It can be easily stored and transported, all of which can be done in just a few minutes. The handle is clearly labelled with all of the features and includes a non-slip control that can be used with one hand for simple and straightforward operation. The Viaplus-V12 drive control adapts to the comfort of the wheelchair handle without hindering the usage of wheelchair functions.

This package contains two batteries; charge them when they arrive and for the first time, charge after each usage, and recharge every six weeks if not used for an extended period of time.

Charging and maintenance of the Viaplus-V12 powerpack battery:
The majority of damage to batteries happens when they are allowed to run completely flat, thus charging them is crucial before initial use. This should not take long as all of our batteries will be shipped with sufficient charge. If six weeks go by without use, charge them to slow down the natural discharge rate.

Recyclable batteries:
When a battery's functional life is complete, many of them are discarded in landfills. This is very harmful to the environment by releasing toxins into the soil as the cells break down, which wastes a resource that could be recycled. Your used battery can fortunately be recycled at a variety of local recycling centres, a list of which can be found at the bottom of this page under the heading 'recycle.'
