This good replacement battery uses absorbed glass mat technology and is a valve-regulated sealed lead acid battery (VRLA) (AGM). This specific battery is suggested for this installation since it won't leak when set on its side, making it appropriate for use in homes, hospitals, or retirement communities.
Installation advice:
Most people can easily replace the batteries in their box themselves, which can save a lot of money by purchasing just the batteries rather than the entire pack because it only takes a screwdriver to do so.
If you need help, consult a professional, but it's easy to change the batteries within most people's capabilities.
Could you take the battery pack out of the hoist and place it on a desk or table. There are usually six screws that need to be removed that are clear to see. Sometimes these will have security heads and a fancy screw head. If so, a trip to your local do-it-yourself store will obtain these, but nowadays, most have them at home. Sometimes, it's just a Phillips screw.
Then you can separate the two halves, swap the batteries over and screw the box back together, about five minutes to save a considerable amount.
Charge the batteries when they arrive (assuming that you fit them first straight away) and after every use. Please do not leave them in a discharged state. Better to charge them. If they are not being used for long, recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
