This two-battery AGM pack is necessary for the Power Porter electric barrows, Xtreme and DPM versions. This battery pack will also work if you have a Big Boy or MK2 Tri-Porter conversation kit placed on an older model to convert it to electrical. Looking after your new Power-Porter battery set:
Batteries need to be looked after, whether it is lithium, nickel metal hydride, GEL or in this case AGM. Online you will see many different pieces of advice which may be overwhelming but here are the main tips you should take away is fully charge before first use. Secondly, if a month goes by and you haven’t used the trolley then top up with charge to keep the cells fresh for next use. Lastly and most importantly, charge the batteries as soon as possible after use, storing them in a discharged state will do irreparable damage.
