The pair of batteries on offer here are valve-regulated sealed lead acid. They will not leak and are suitable for portable use. They are also not hazardous, so they are safe for transporting on public transport and airlines. However, you should check at the point of booking your flight.
Maintaining your batteries health is a vital part of owning them and is quite easy to do if you follow a few basic rules. First, fully charge your new batteries and most importantly after every use, never leave them for long in a discharged state. Secondly, if you wont be using them for a long periods of time, after fully charging, top up with charge every month.
They are eighteen ampere which is the standard however we can offer an upgrade to this that will give you a longer runtime, meaning more miles in between charges. You can select this battery pack on the easy upgrade section.
