YUG Igor-I II electric bike AGM battery 60v replacement
Direct compatible replacements for YUG Igor-I II electric bike, high-quality AGM 60v lead acid batteries with upgrades available
Electric bikes, scooters and vehicles have become ever more popular in recent times and it is easy to see why. Having a different type of power instead of fossil fuels opens up options. The Igor MK1 and MK2 are available with sealed lead acid batteries and when it's time to replace them, all the different batteries available could be overwhelming but fear not. You can be assured that you would be getting a complete set of high-quality AGM batteries that are higher ampere than standard ones fitted from new, gifting you with a longer runtime in between charges.
Replacing the batteries is quite a simple job and the only tool you will require is a screwdriver. They can be found underneath the seat, usually in a set of two and three, totalling five batteries that connect together to give you 60v. Please take note of how your current batteries are linked and installed so you have something to follow when installing the new ones.
- IGOR I 1000W battery
- IGOR II 1200W battery
This set is for five sealed lead batteries.
Please note that we have seen different versions of this scooter with seemingly the same name. Some scooters require a lithium battery while some require sealed lead AGM. The set of five batteries on offer here are direct compatible replacements for the sealed lead AGM versions. As standard the batteries that come with the scooter are 20ah while we are able to offer 22ah so already upgrading however, we can also supply 26ah which can be selected on the easy upgrade section.
Looking after sealed lead batteries is important, if you do not care for them, they will not provide you with what you are looking for. To start, as with any brand new AGM batteries, they must go through charging cycles (possibly up to ten) to be able to reach their full charging capacity, this is totally normal and part of the conditioning process. Secondly, and most importantly, you need to be recharging after every use. As soon as you get home from a journey, put the batteries on charge until full. If you won't be using the scooter for an extended period of time, recharge it every four weeks to help slow down the natural self-discharge rate.
Voltage: 12v x5 = 60v
