The Waeco Dometic PowerVac PV-100 is a handy portable wet & Dry vacuum cleaner that is ideal for use in your car, caravan or boat. While it will never replace a commercial one it is capable of tidying up light wet or dry spills that might otherwise linger and spoil those special days out.
Now, how to look after your PowerVac PV-100 battery. Charge it fully when it arrives and is first used. It will take several charges and associated use before it is able to accept a full-capacity charge, which is quite normal with rechargeable batteries. Probably the most important thing is never to allow it to discharge fully. Charge it after every use. If not being used, perhaps over the winter, then recharge every six weeks. Do not just leave it on the charger, just charge until it's fully charged, no more than fourteen hours.
The PowerVac PV-100 has the ability to charge via 240v mains and via 12v charge cable, it will probably never reach full capacity charge using the latter, so if you do generally maybe give it a treat every now and then with a mains charge.
This battery is valve regulated sealed lead acid, it will not spill, suitable to use in portable devices such as vacuum.
