Samson's Expedition Express+ is a rechargeable portable public address with added features such as Bluetooth connectivity. Fitting the new battery is easy. Just remove the back plate, and the cover separates the battery, then swap it over. The only tool you need is a Phillips screwdriver.
Charge your new Samson Expedition Express+ replacement battery when it arrives and first. It will take several uses in the speaker and associated charges before it can take a full one. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries undergo.
When it comes to maintaining your new Samson Expedition Express battery, the only thing you have to do it to keep it charged. Recharge as soon as you can after every use, it will not it no good if you allow it to sit in a discharged state. Never try to discharge it fully, the only thing you will achieve is a shorter life span. If it is not being used, recharge every six weeks to keep the cells fresh. Do not leave it on the charger for any longer than to achieve a full charge. Overnight is okay but not for days on end.
