It is essential to charge your new battery before using it for the first time, but not more than twenty-four hours at a time. Doing so may harm the battery irreparably. The battery may then be charged after each use. If the toy tractor is not being used, for example and especially in the winter months, a top-up charge every eight weeks or so will help to extend the battery life.
Replacing the battery on your Peg-Perego children’s ride-on electric tractor is fairly straightforward. Firstly, open the battery compartment and disconnect the old battery from the connection power plugs. Next, unscrew the two battery holder screws and remove the battery holder. You can now remove the old battery and position the new battery in its place inside the battery holder. You can now replace the two screws and connect the power plugs. Finally close and lock the hood.
It is possible to upgrade your battery from a 12v 12ah to a 14ah. This simply provides more power on your children’s ride-on tractor, whilst sticking to the same physical dimensions. To do this, click on the easy upgrade option and select 14ah.
