The battery in the EWheels M34 is a 12V 12AH sealed lead acid battery, which provides a substantial advantage in terms of durability and maintenance. There are two batteries in this set, but you have some choices. We have seen them come with both push on terminals and screw down, you will see we have listed both options above, if in doubt look to what you have now, just open the box and have a quick peak. Secondly both terminal options can be upgraded, from the standard 12ah to 14ah for more miles per charge, again these upgrades are above.
The charge time typically ranges from 6 to 8 hours, which is standard for this type of battery. You must fully charge them after every single use, leaving in a discharged state is the quickest way to destroy them. Please note it may take a number of charges before it is able to reach its full capacity, this is the same with any sealed lead battery. If not being used for longer periods, charge every eight weeks to keep the cells fresh.
