Replacement battery pack for Livewell Jaunt mobility scooter, rechargeable sealed lead AGM CMS001 batteries with upgrade available at low costs.
The Jaunt mobility scooter manufactured by Livewell was praised by its customers and had great reviews up its initial release. The easy-split system means that the scooter separates into five lightweight parts making it perfect for taking away on holiday, fitting into a car boot for trips to the supermarket, or storing around the home. It has features such as a comfortably and padded seat that swivels and has adjustable armrests that flip up for easy access on and off the scooter. This scooter also has a great turning circle and adjustable speed control allowing for easy manoeuvrability around the home and shops.
Important - Please Note: There are now two boxes for the Jaunt, if your box does NOT have CMS001 on it then choose the "MK Original 12ah Upgrade" from the dropdown menu in the easy upgrade above, as this battery will have a different terminal.
These batteries are sealed, non hazardous, not-spillable AGM type. This means they are great for transportation including airlines which accept these however you should tell them at point of booking. They are also environmentally friendly and recyclable as they are mainly made of lead, once these batteries have come to the end of their life then please recycle them at your local recycling centre.

There are two batteries in this set, they go inside the battery box. Easy to fit, just roll it upside down and remove the screws holding the lid on, then turn it back, take off the lid and you will see the two batteries. There are only two cables on each so unlikely to make a mistake, but perhaps take a picture so you have something to refer to.
How to charge and maintain Jaunt scooter batteries?
Although these batteries are classed as AGM and maintenance free, charging your batteries is very important. Most of the damage occurs when they are allowed to run flat, so please charge upon delivery and before first use although this should not take long as all our batteries are dispatched with sufficient charge. If a period of six weeks will pass without use then charge them to slow down the natural discharge rate. Once these batteries have come to the end of their life then please recycle them, they are mainly made of lead which means they can be made into a different product.

This offer is for the standard 12ah batteries that would be been installed by Livewell at point of sale. We can also offer higher ampere in the way of 14ah and 15ah, having these upgrades will allow for a longer runtime in between charges, giving you more miles. We are also able to offer LiFePo4 versions which are a whole different ball game and will last much longer overall.
