Replacement Izip CB24 or the CB26 battery set, 24-volt set of two valve regulated sealed safe non-spillable batteries for this popular range of electric assisted bicycles, extended range also available.
The Izip CB24 and CB26 are battery packs fitted to many Izip electric assisted bicycles, this offer is for the two batteries that go inside of it, they are valve regulated sealed lead acid batteries with absorbed glass mat construction, they will not spill when mounted on their side on the bike frame. They are easy to fit, there is normally just 4 screws holding the pack together, undo them and pull off the lid you will see the batteries there, carefully swap the batteries over one at a time so you do not mix up the cable, then is only two cable on each battery so its not too taxing but doing one at a time will make it easier, also you might want to take a picture with your camera from various angles just as a reminder if you called away half way through.

After you have installed your new batteries you should charge fully before first use, this will not take that long as they will be almost fully charged.
In general use we would recommend that you charge as soon as you can after every use, leaving them in a semi discharge state for too long is not a good idea, it would be preferable that come the end of the day there be at least 20% energy left in the cells, this will help the batteries fulfil a normal life, never try to deliberately discharge them, this will most defiantly shorten the life and if not using for extended periods then charge every eight weeks to try to minimise the natural self discharge.
