The Cameo-4 is the four wheeled version of this very popular mobility scooter with a bit more leg room for the taller user and maybe a bit more stable due to having wheels in every corner, as with the others in the range it is lightweight and easily transportable with a detachable battery pack.

There are two batteries in this pack, they are 12v 12ah each this is the standard fit, you should already be aware of this and if not make your own checks to confirm.

Fitting your new batteries is quite easy, just turn the box over and undo the screws holding the lid on. Turn it back, remove the lid and you will see the two batteries, they will have two cables on each, a Postive and Negative. Change them one at a time and you will not have a issue, but you can alsways take a quick picture so you have a reference.

Valve regulated lead acid, VRLA and absorbed glass mat technology or AGM, they are deemed approved for air travel but you should make your own enquires with the airline to ensure they do not have any restrictions.

As you can see the price is very good, but you should still ensure you look after your new batteries as best as you can, it is best not to discharge them below 50% on a regular basis as this will shorten their overall expected life span, charge after every use will minimise this, if not being used for long periods then you should charge every month or so to keep them in good condition
