The Betterlife Style Plus is a travel-sized transportable mobility scooter that can easily be dismantled into five manageable pieces to fit in the car boot. this means, of course, you need sealed, non-spillable batteries for this purpose. As standard, this mobility scooter comes with two 12v 12ah batteries, which is what this offer is for. We can also offer an extended pack to replace these; a link to these will be found further down the page; we can also provide the Betterlife Style Plus Superior battery pack, which has physically larger batteries. Portable 4mph Scooter batteries.
There are two batteries in this set.
The battery pack on this model is removable, as you are probably aware, when you break the scooter down to put it in a car. inside this battery box, there are two batteries. They are easy to replace. Just turn the box over on a soft cloth or piece of cardboard to protect the cover from scratching and remove the screws and take off the lid. inside, you will see a pair of batteries; there are only two cables on each with push-on spade terminals, but if you think you might get called away halfway through changing them, then take a picture with your camera phone so you have something to refer to.
After you have fitted your new Betterlife Style Plus batteries, charge them fully within the box. They will come out to you almost fully charged, but the first one is important, so an overnight charge would be preferred.
We recommend that you charge them as soon as you can after every use; it's better than allowing them to sit in a discharged state, even if it's partially. If you can, you would always want to have at least 20% capacity in the cells at the end of a day's use. This will go a long way in helping you get a longer life from them. If that has been an issue in the past, then perhaps look at the longer runtime 14-amp-hour ones offered below.

This would mean more miles per charge, and also for the larger Betterlife Style Plus Superior, which is physically larger and has more amp hours. If in any doubt, measure your battery pack. If it's five inches high, then it's a standard 12ah box. If it's over seven inches high, then the larger 17ah, which is a different physical size.
