Even though the Alber E-fix E25 batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged you should still charge before first use, your charger will advise you when it has completed a charge, the light will change to indicate this, you may well be impatient just to fit and use the equipment but it's well worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend overall life span.
Batteries only, not the box.
Fitting your new Alber E-fix E25 is quite easy, we have seen some of these with phillips screw heads, but most appear to use a Torx 20 security screrw, sometimes call a star, most people would now have one of these too, there are only five screws, once removed its very straightforward, just change one at a time, there will be a video to watch hopefully to see how easy it is. You can, of course, elect to have us do it for you; you can add that service above to the cart.
You may or may not notice that it will take a few charges and associated use of the Alber E-fix E25 in your electric vehicle before the battery is capable of receiving a full capacity charge, this is quite normal, you should charge your batteries as soon as you can after every use, do not leave them sitting in a semi discharged state, do not try to discharge the batteries fully. This can drastically reduce your lifespan, so it costs you money in the long run. There may be extended periods where they are not being actively used. Ensure they are charged first and then recharged every four weeks, but do not leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours at a time.
These are valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries and will not leak. They are both AGM and VRLA, and they are not hazardous, so safe for use on the road and indoors as well as travelling by aeroplane, but of course, you should confirm this with your airline at the point of booking your flight.
