Even though the batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged you should still charge before first use, the charger will have lights on it indicating whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, you may well be impatient just to fit and use the equipment but it's well worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend overall life span
You may or may not notice that it will take a few charges and associated use in your electric vehicle before the battery is capable of receiving a full capacity charge, this is quite normal, once you have used your electric vehicle then you should put it back on charge as soon as you can, do not leave it sitting in a semi discharged state for any longer than necessary, never try to deliberately discharge, this will only reduce overall life span, there may be extended periods where they are not being actively used, if so ensure they are charged first and then recharged every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
These batteries are sealed lead valve regulated or VRLA and benefit from using AGM technology, this means they will not spill so can be used indoors or on the road without fear of leakage, they are not-hazardous so safe for use in travel including aeroplanes but you should check with your airline at time of booking
