The following information is to help you make a purchase for replacement mobility batteries for the Shoprider Go-Go 3 scooter, it stores its required energy onboard using sealed lead storage batteries, these are 12ah cells, it uses 2 x 12-volt batteries which is what we are offering here these are of course rechargeable, they are non spillable, safe and not-hazardous so can be used indoors, AGM and VRLA which are capable of deep cycling which is handy as they are often used every day
When you receive the order from us you will note that the batteries will be almost fully charged, but it is important to charge them before first use, the charger will have lights on it indicating whether it is still charging or not, you only need to charge them until they are ready, you may well just want to fit them and use the equipment but it's worth waiting until the first charge has completed and it might contribute to over life span
it may well take a few charges and use in your equipment for the battery to condition and be able to take a full capacity charge, this is quite normal, you should charge your batteries as soon as you can after every use, do not leave them sitting in a semi discharged state, fully discharging your batteries will reduce the overall life span and they will need changing earlier, there may be extended periods where they are not being actively used, if so ensure they are charged first and then recharged every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
